Traffic is routed to Parallax's network, where it passes through perimeter filtering, intrusion prevention, and content inspection before being returned to you clean. Most customers connect over the network with nothing to install. If you prefer a local tunnel endpoint on-site, a standard off-the-shelf device can optionally be configured to connect into the same service.

The same scrubbing service can protect your wireless network as well. Both employee and guest Wi-Fi traffic are routed through it, so guest devices never reach your internal network unfiltered, and employee wireless traffic receives the same protection as traffic on the wire.
